OECD Paris 2024 – Anticorruption

The OECD’s 2024 Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum is set to take place on March 26-27 in Paris and will feature a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. This year’s forum will focus on innovative anti-corruption strategies that integrate data analytics, artificial intelligence, and new technologies to improve accountability, particularly in areas like lobbying and corporate influence. Key sessions will examine challenges in tackling illicit financial flows, the role of the private sector in supporting anti-corruption efforts, and the impact of these initiatives on global issues like environmental sustainability and human rights.

A major theme will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, which has been pivotal in setting international standards against foreign bribery. This milestone provides an opportunity to reflect on its achievements and explore forward-looking strategies to strengthen anti-corruption frameworks globally. Leading voices from government, international organizations, and the private sector will discuss how the Convention has helped shape business ethics worldwide and where further progress is needed in areas like tax crimes and international compliance
